Our Story
We have been in operation for more than 30 years.
Aerocare was previously known as Ambulance Air Africa (Prinsloo Aviation) and was established in 1978.
Our main base of operations is at Bloemfontein International Airport with satellite bases in Kimberley, Kuruman and Bethlehem.
Our core business has always been the provision of Aeromedical services to public and private corporations.

In 2009 AeroCare also became a private emergency services provider, incorporating these services into our business model. These services include road ambulance and Fire & Rescue services.
Aerocare consists of a group of passionate, dedicated and service driven professionals who understand that quality medical care makes the difference between life and death.
We boast a rapid response fleet of reliable aircraft with specialist medical care professionals on board along with state-of-the-art equipment.
We are Africa’s foremost aerial emergency medical service.
We react instantly to provide on-site medical attention and high care transport to the closest, most appropriate medical facility.
Specialised physicians, including anaesthetists, paediatricians and neonatologists, are on hand when the emergency flight demands their presence.
Aerocare’s service is based on medical excellence and extensive training; a winning formula which has saved thousands of lives.
We are the best at what we do, because we have been doing it for 30 years.
When you have to face your mortality,
Make sure Aerocare is there.
