AEROCARE UNVEILS 2020 MARKETING CAMPAIGN
‘WHEN YOU FACE YOUR MORTALITY, AEROCARE IS THERE’
Its new campaign slogan – “When you face your mortality, Aerocare is there” – depicts the profound level of expertise and state of the art equipment which accompanies every medical emergency and disaster management flight.
Aerocare is a disaster response team with a footprint throughout Africa. “Our multi-disciplinary taskforce includes disaster management and rescue professionals, trauma doctors, specialist physicians, advanced life support paramedics as well as civil and chemical engineers,” says Aerocare CEO Phillip Mukiibi.
“Aerocare consists of a group of passionate, dedicated and service driven professionals who understand that quality medical care makes the difference between life and death. Specialised physicians, including anaesthetists, paediatricians and neonatologists, are on board when the emergency flight demands their presence.”
Aerocare operates with a fleet of pressure-controlled King Air aircraft, which are all fully equipped as medical ICUs. “We operate 5 King Air B200 Aircraft, four of which are based in South Africa, and one in Benghazi, Libya.
“We are a long-standing and preferred service supplier to all the major medical aid companies in Southern Africa and we are also currently contracted to the Northern Cape Department of Health to provide aeromedical transportation in the province.”
Over the years, Aerocare has executed several operational partnerships and service delivery models. The company recently completed a stint in Malta in partnership with the UK based DO Systems company.
It is currently operational with a joint venture with Air Libya, transporting patients from Benghazi to Europe, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia.
“We have a wealth of experience in executing aeromedical flights in Africa, but our main operational bases are in Bloemfontein and Kimberley. These locations in central Africa enable us to respond effectively to emergencies throughout the Southern African geological footprint,” says Mukiibi.
“We react instantly to provide on-site medical attention and high care transport to the closest, most appropriate medical facility.
“Aerocare’s service is based on medical excellence and extensive training; a winning formula which has saved thousands of lives. When you must face our mortality, make sure Aerocare is there,” he concluded.
